My word was "Grandpa"... This amazing energy gave me a word, and I placed that word within poetry. Wrapped my will for gifting what God gave me on paper and placed it into position to be shared. Endlesswill, Emeritus Poet Laureate of Hillsborough, NC likes to travel and share poetry with the world. One of favorites places to share work is at the Lincoln Monument in Washington, DC. This place is a melting pot of people from places all over the world and a poem handed by a stranger makes a lasting memory. My name is William Davis, and I am an author, poet, and an educator Chapel Hill, NC. I teach poetry, public speaking, and I am the Gym teacher at Emerson Waldorf School. Some of my previously published works include my books of poetry Falling Apples, Broken Perception, and Lost Poems. During the 2016-2018 term, I served as the Poet Laureate of Hillsborough, NC. Currently, I serve on the Hillsborough Arts Council, where I facilitate monthly poetry performances for the public through our town's Last Friday Art Walk celebrations. My latest venture with engaging our local community in poetry is conducting Typewriter Poetry on demand. I set up my typewriter at local farmer's markets, live music venues, schools, weddings, birthday parties, and more to offer my services. Patrons will write down a word of their choice on a slip of paper, around which I will type a customized poem on the spot. Everybody walks away with a unique poem built around their chosen word and handwriting. This is me.. God gave me this!
